Questions

Who is Lumen for?

Busy professionals and their families: adults, teens and children ages 6 and up, each with a licensed clinician. We're opening first in Georgia, with Virginia coming next.

Is this a subscription?

No. You pay only for the sessions you book, with no membership, auto-renew or hidden fees. You keep your own dedicated therapist, and you can ask to switch at any time at no cost.

Do you take insurance?

Not yet. We plan to accept insurance in the future. For now, Lumen is private pay. We can give you a superbill to submit if your plan has out-of-network benefits, and you can pay with an HSA or FSA card.

Do you see children and teens?

Yes, ages 6 and up, by secure video. A parent or guardian joins part of the first session. For ages 6–12, a parent stays in the home during sessions; for teens 13–17, a parent stays reachable by phone. Consent rules differ in Georgia and Virginia, and we'll walk you through yours before you start.

Is it confidential?

What you share stays between you and your clinician, with limits set by law, such as a serious risk of harm to you or others, suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult, or a court order. Your clinician will explain these in writing before you start.

What if I'm in crisis?

Lumen is not a crisis service. Call or text 988, call the Georgia Crisis & Access Line at 1-800-715-4225, or call 911.
